To be fair, Steam is DRM in the same way as a lot of other schemes. It’s just it actually works properly and gives you other benefits in turn (i.e. chat, re-download the game at any point, screenshots, friends system, etc) for losing the freedom of non-DRM.

Also steamworks games are brilliant from a server admin’s perspective.

A week ago I would have snapped it up for that price. Now, I’m just not sure this thing has any mileage in it. Someone convince me otherwise.
