thats not entirely accurate if I’m right. the betas are over 3 days periods yes but you have to get invited to participate (so thats 2 invites, 1 for beta key and 1 for beta invite).

You’re not quite right, but almost (unless I misunderstand. Ok let’s take the next event on the 25th as an example. If Trion decide to give out invites, everyone who is signed up on their website has a chance to get one. They may also give out beta keys to promotional partners, and if you get one of those keys, it basically guarantees that you get into that one, next event. That’s it. And, of course, if you pre-ordered you are guaranteed a spot.

They don’t need lots of bug testing, these are stress-tests more than anything, hence the 3 days.

About 10 people from nE have been playing the beta since the 4th event, and about 6/7 of us are preordering (or already have). Its well worth a try ;D
Oh and dont get put off by the starting area, i found that quite boring. Once you get to around level 10-12 it gets alot better.

As mentioned above (and in the other thread) .:ne:. are playing and are playing on Blightweald, bit of a wait to get on at the moment though but it should be fun once we all manage to get on lol
