It still shows what could be done with it, in the first TF2 video on the OP it has motion blur and DOF, in the DODS video it has the same, so it’s okay to assume it was made using that tool aswell.

Especially in the earlier Meet the videos they were rather simple and started getting better.

Eventually when people get the hang of making custom animations, combined with this tool.

If this gets released hopefully somebody will make a high quality high polygon count model pack to go with it, which would be awesome.

Valve said they’d drop it out there once they were done with meet the team, just gotta hope it comes early (probably won’t, they don’t want too many real-looking fake videos)

Looking at the tool it still looks like a pain to use, if it works with demos rather than being able to control bots with a shiny interface, but still, it’s good, SourceTV demos are easy enough to use, and this lets people do custom animations with Maya and stuff, nom.

Got a feeling when it does get released valve’ll package it with a load of high quality stuff anyway though

want high quality models!

can’t see any way to do custom animations with the program though? still looks pretty cool for the poor fellow who can’t get a bunch of friends to help him out :3
