Smoothing while paused

I want to smooth a scene whilst it’s paused, the annoying thing is that when I press pause (to then go and enter the ticks to smooth), all of the explosions appearing on screen at the time just disappear. Any other movie makers know a way around this?

I’d imagine for the smooth itself you can just use host_timescale 0.0000001, but that doesn’t stop the issue of not being able to see the explosions when doing the smooth.

Special_K did it in his movie not so long ago. You can ask him I guess.
But after you find out how to do it, could please also tell us in this topic? :)

Play at 1% speed, do your smooth very quickly, and then slow it down in vegas even more? :D

In specialK’s movie, I think he just flew around rather than using the smoothing tool.

mrp.

in special_k movie there weren’t explosions at all while smoothing, i checked

but you can hide the green line if you tick the “hide original” box on the demoui

decap, how did you do that? i mean, the explosions do not fade away, however they fade away when i try to do it, and chris means that too
