Anything other than Logjam or Turbine would be nice. I’d actually prefer Turbine but I think people’s lack of a want to scrim it makes it not so viable. I actually really enjoyed Sunshine when I played it, though. I don’t think it should just be added to the season without testing how it works with some more cups and such, though.

Well I mean I kinda regret not updating this page as often as I should but that’s a pretty lofty claim to make without citing reasons. I’d love to fix the map to make it “not garbage” but people like you who say bad things never cite *why* they think it’s bad, or specific things I should fix besides “whoa it’s a new map I don’t know the strategies for it so I’ll just say it’s bad”.

Regardless I’d love to get more involved here – rc2 was just released, and I’m still editing as we speak. Maybe we could get something going? Some sort of mini-test or a small cup or something. That’d be nice. CEVO and ESEA seem to like it, more or less. It’s what I expect of a new map though, some people don’t like it because they can’t figure out how to play it properly without investing time, hahaha.

Why viaduct, then we only have 5cp maps in the map pool anymore, no problem against testing sunshine but i dont want to play 5cp 24/7

Agreed.

Playing only 5CP would be just far too boring, unless if you love the boring stalemates that happen every 2 minutes unless if you roll, but that’s not fun then, isn’t it.

Last season’s map pool was enjoyable with a CTF and a KOTH map, and I hope that Turbine would return for at least one season again to replace Logjam so the map maker would have more time on improving it for the future.

But then again there was also the godlike Metalworks but I could guess that the admins have forgotten it at this point.

Don’t tell me turbine and viaduct don’t have their stalemates and a lot of waiting time.

Yeah metalworks could also be a replacement for viaduct.

RC3 IS HERE!

This version was months in development. I’m proud to present what shall be the final version of the map for quite some time, barring exploits or a RC3A.

Changelog:
-remade last entirely
-remade last lobby entirely
-hdr is now on
-new skybox that’s a ton better
-added lots of detail across the whole map
-made various brushwork structures (i.e. lighthouse) into models
-better lighting in general
-an enormous amount of graphical and clipping fixes (thank you everyone for helping with this)
-deer

Considering how the map has been and is currently being played in countless leagues (ESEA, CEVO, UGC, LBTF2, OzFortress, etc…) I highly suggest looking at the map and at least considering it for use in ETF2L. I will accept any feedback, I hope you will like the map.
