What more do you expect to be said besides the name of the team? If i vote for a team, its quite obvious the explanation is: i think they’re the best one and therefore deserve it more.

‘I think they are the best’ and ‘results’ are two completely different arguments, hence Sonny’s remark about the minimal impact of people’s input on the seeding. Pretty sure the teams that deserve the spots the most will get them.

Personal bias.

While it affects everyone it does so in a different quality. It also stains someone’s POV of “who is best”, with greater effect, the ‘closer’ two teams are result wise.

A short tournament / playoff is the most objective thing that could happen to this.

Indeed. What’s the point in having a bunch of people in div2 and below have their say on who should be in prem.
