Had something else planned weeks ago, but failed to pull it together in time, but thought of something else i can (hopefully) make… There is little time left though… Can’t believe i didnt think about doing this before today… :(
Anyway, i need a bit of your creativity from you all.
If you ever watched a stream of starcraft LANS like MLG, you might have noticed the SC2 fans always make awesome (fan)signs either @lan or even before the event…
I was thinking i could try to make some signs, TF2 kill notification style (using the http://www.mzzt.net/tf2generator[/url]), for the crowd to show off at the grand final @ i43…
Now, i still need to try/figure out to blow them up to huge sizes, with still looking good. Will probably try to do that at work tomorrow where we have nice software + plotters.
But i need idea’s for funny punchlines/catchphrases/quotes/whatever from you guys. Made up a few so far, but i know you guys can do better! :)

So help me out pls!
2 pointers;
– Keep them in a “funny” style. (enough flaming/trolling/bashing eachother in the community lately)
– Focus them on our game/community or on (members of) the 4 teams most likely to make the final (cause were only gonna get 1 stage match to show the signs), which are TCM, Epsilon, Dignitas and Infused.

That’s actually a quality idea Califax – Anyone got a large printer/laminator? I can potentially do it if no one has at work but no other game has anything like this at the i-series it’d be amazing to show how our scene gives the best atmosphere in finals again! :D
Try getting some for “Airshot!” or somthing people can hold up like at the cricket when people score a 4/6 :]

This would be so sweet.
Love this idea! Bit unlucky that it got made public a week before the event, but I’m sure something awesome can be made here! I’ll see what I can do myself, maybe if there’s a Saintsbury’s close to the venue, we can make something happen ;D

Isn’t the whole fun of the “cheerfuls” (as they’re called in SC2) that they are very in-joke type things drawn on the spot at the event?

For SC2, yes. But we’re only gonna get 1 stagematch, so it’s a different situation.
