I then started a normal game and everything is fine, fortunately.

I’m probably wrong, but I think that’s just the hud loading. I get it whenever I use hud_reloadscheme on a paused demo.

Is anything in my HUD broken / Did Valve add any new features that use new elements in the HUD?

Can’t test it yet, as I’m still downloading that update with 120KB/s… :/

+1 Everything seems to be working just fine aftre re-install. :)

I saw someone suggestion it earlier and I agree. The hud needs bigger capture point icons seriously!

On Chris’ max frames with rivatuner and 640 x 480, I still drop to 40 fps on midfights. My tf2 recommended settings are quite high though. Like medium-high models, shaders, shadows, 4x antriscophic filtering (or whatever it is) etc.

Guess I’ll have to use another HuD.

A fps config and your running in 640 x 480 and you only get 40fps? For the love of god someone buy this guy a new computer and put him out of his misery.
