So i try to play with the new cvars:
tf_dingaling_wav_override
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg

Now the volume of the ding sound is lower than before. I want to set the default values back. Someone pls post the values here

about tf_dingaling_volume, wich is the highest number i can set? i tried to set it to a different number than 1 but doesn’t change

FADe

1 is the highest for tf_dingaling, you tried deleting all the commands from your cfg and loading tf2?

edit: wonder why half my comment didnt submit?!

Type any CVar without any value in console and it’ll give you the default value and other informations.

I find the hitsound volume with imported sound files very low even with topped tf_dingaling_volume (at 1), imported the original q3 hitbeep and couldn’t use it until I increased its volume manually with an audio editing app

first one is with 10dB amplification, should be just about loud enough
second one is with 20dB amp, even louder but the loss of quality is a little bit more noticeable
