Is requesting a demo in match page enough leverage for admins to ask to submit it ?

Sabesaroo, accept you made mistakes, which can happen to everyone. Live with it, learn from it, be nice to people, become a great team leader. Leading a team means double-checking things and distributing responsibilities if necessary, as it was in your case.

A few more comfort features would be nice in this league, but they are not an absolute necessity.

Good luck :)

I didnt read the whole thread but just leaving the suggestion out here, since the new website is being developed, of adding a warning feature that can email you when such things happen and you are required to provide a demo or an extra screenshot or whatever it is.

What canfo said. There are many nice-to-have things but our coding people can only do so much in their own free time i am afraid.

From what I’ve been told, etf2l has 51k active users. Why is it so difficult to find additional devs willing to help?

I’ve been in far smaller and obscure communities with ten times as many devs

??

How come you haven’t been looking for more ‘coding people’ then?
there’s this http://etf2l.org/2014/03/02/etf2l-recruiting/ but it’s not even mentioned in your http://etf2l.org/etf2l/jobs/

You don’t just give anyone access to the backend, so you don’t recruit new programmers by spamming.
We have a few active coders that work on more important tasks though, but they have proven that they’re worth their salt in the past.

…but you always don’t.

I think you mean “don’t always”, as “always don’t” is synonymous with “never”.

damneasy

If you red the rules you would have know that you may have to give your demo, and if you knew that it would be stupid to not check the match comments and/or your email..

Ive always been notified “by email” so dont be a douche and try to talk with the admins and send them the requested demos and who knows maybe the easter bunny can be a nice guy to you.

That second page hasn’t been updated in ages, I guess it probably should be.
