They made xbow useless for me it’s imbosible to kill scout now with that on close/mid range. And also nerfed healing from it a lot you can see values here:

FYI, it was 1.5seconds before the Halloween, they have misinformed j00 with their out-dated manual of the crossbow :x

when it first came out it was 3seconds they then beefed it up and made it 1.5, then on Halloween apparently went to 0.1seconds (with the bug) and now its back to 1.5

it’s definitely nerfed now tho :/ the less damage and less heals from it, may make me switch :((((

no need to cry, medic is not a battle class anyway, 50 damage is still good enough, good sacrifice for Silent Reload

Popcorp compare it to other slot one weapons for medic, it made it much worse than the rest. Medic isn’t combat class, but you could really save your ass sometimes with crossbow on close range i.e. when scout is chasing you try now to counter scout with medic, or try to deny jumping soldier on you with it. It wasn’t op and those one or two crossbow kill with medic isn’t much, but it could save your life in some situations, nerf made it nearly imposibble.

well, now Crossbow is going to be used mostly for Far distance healing, since it does like 25 close range and 37 mid range damage now, there’s just less chances to survive if someone’s chasing you if you’re using Crossbow, so yeah, with crossbow, Medic is more vulnurable now, i dont know what’s happening with Tf2 team right now, first 8 > 2 Active Stickies for Sticky jumper, now Crossbow, what’s next?

How is seeing clip status a good buff? It’s neat, but not really game changing, or anything changing. You don’t push in when people have nothing loaded in the first place and you know that (or should know that) by communicating with your team.

The only good usage of seeing clip status is pub, where medics can finally see if that Heavy they want to pop on actually has any ammo, etc.

I feel the damage decrease was kinda unnecessary, but that alone wasn’t so bad. If it truly heals less than before then yes this is quite a big nerf. Maybe they wanted to equalize the choices between crossbow/needles more? Felt the previous update kinda made xbow mandatory for most maps. I wish they just fixed the reload bug and didn’t change it honestly.

Agreed, just fix the quickswitch bug and leave it as it was. Why would Valve suddenly nerf the damage and healing like that, I don’t get it.
