There used to be a channel for mix mercs, but it seems to have died, which I can’t understand because I have a lot of trouble finding mercs when we have 5 and there’s plenty of times when I’ve wanted to mix but everyone I play with is busy or offline.

Has the channel moved or can we start a new one or what’s going on?

Seems silly though, but I guess people who want to play that much compTF2 make a better effort than me to be in an active team or are happy with pickups and lobbies.

I’d set it up myself but I’m not familiar with quakenet and Q.

Not really much of a substitute imo. It’s not real-time, you really know whether someone is available to play right now, which being in an IRC channel tells people.
