Nice to see someone out there and especially one who plays in pro level @ cod4 to see tf2 as something else than “lolkidpublicgame with comic book graphics and no future”

Anyways i hope you havent set your hopes too high for tf2 and get disappointed later, afterall all communities have their cunts and nice guys, we just have more of the nice guys, well except dunc hes a huge cunt :( (watch out he eats babies)

And for some advices i’d say try to get the hang of tactics and overall flow of the game before worrying about aim and stuff (well if you really are lighters i dont think aim is a huge problem :p) by watching lots of demos, just playing alot in pickups/mixes or maybe even asking someone to teach you! Or you could just do it the byte/snap way and play 1000h in publics :/

Aaand to anwser few of your questions, More’s fps config is teh best out there! http://more.pp.fi/tf2/configs/ (like nemppu said) and if youre looking for a clan try playing some pickups and get people to know you and read the etf2l recruitment forum and see if theres anything interesting etc. (if the clan has a good caller it makes the game so much clearer). and well as already linked http://www.gotfrag.com/tf2/story/43759/ anwsers to pretty much all other questions.

dw, every community needs a flamer ;) makes the rest look good. Already been helped loads and i’m currently looking at learning the map names and health/ammo locations. Like you said aim isnt the problem its the rest thats complicated ;)

Hopefully see some of you in the pickups – dont be shy :)

Yes i’m the real Lighters but that doesnt say much about my aim hehe.

all the real heroes play medic

+1 for More’s fps cfg. It made me the superhero i am today

Sir

Medic is actually the toughest class to play, as you get most of the blame, but it also means you get to rage more

I’m just putting it out there; I really find that playing a fair bit of medic gives you a really good gist of the ebb and flow of the game. Not the full picture, by any means, but a fair decent introduction.

That said, don’t even consider playing it on pickups unless you want to be treated like shit and enjoy dieing due to the retarded play of others and enduring everyone’s raging, especially when you don’t deserve it.

but playing medic doesnt mean you’re a hero, now does it.

what the scene needs are alot more good teams

what class you play doesnt really matter as long as you bring more players with you :D

TF2 is like Pringles. Once you pop, you can’t stop.

Good luck in TF2, remember that medics are allowed to be as dumb as everyone else in a pickup :D.

Hope you find the right mixes, sometimes you will find yourself wondering ‘wtf is going on here?’ when your playing pickups

If you’re seriously looking to play TF2 competitively, you have to listen to Oggy singing and Exoronic playing the flute. Without those two experiences, your time in TF2 means NOTHING!

Btw, good luck in the radio thingy ma thing.
