I used to be unable to play Scout with viewmodels, now I lost my config, it seems to be the other way around o_o
Heavy without viewmodels&muzzleflash is a godsend however
I just tried yesterday playing soldier without viewmodels and…. I can say I was totally beasting. Aim was away better then with viewmodels BUT sometimes I failed very hard, like was trying to jump with shotgun. Anyways playing without viewmodels is a bit weird for me atm, but thats the way how to get better in tf2 :>
Opinion. If you think you can aim better with viewmodels, leave them on, if not, turn them off. Having the same configuration as a prem player will not make you prem.

How can you remove the muzzleflash?
Personaly I play soli without on rocketlauncher only.
And scouts without on scattergun only.
On for all the others.
Off. except melee. For all classes.
viewmodels won’t make your aim better, you have to aim with crosshair not with viewmodel. it would be like having 2 mice, any point of it?:) besides, having viewmodels off will make the whole thing a lot more clear.
bind “key” “slot1;r_drawviewmodel 0”
bind “key” “slot2;r_drawviewmodel 0”
bind “key” “slot3;r_drawviewmodel 1”
bind “key” “slot4;r_drawviewmodel 0”
bind “key” “slot5;r_drawviewmodel 0”

viewmodel_fov 0 removes bullet tracers etc
I play scout & sniper w/o viewmodels, the rest with them on … and spy with autoreload off :)
I also have “bind p toggle r_drawviewmodel” in case of emergency
