Less Granary, perhaps?

Granary is a great map, other thing is you want to get rid of it because you don’t know how to play it. Same thing happened with Obscure, excellent map…

Problems with granary:
Team balance issues (particularly with spawns)
Chokes are too small from mid to 2nd
A bit too difficult to push from last to 2nd if the enemy team sends in a suicider (the attacking spawn is really close and its difficult to stand on the point without eating huge spam)
Not really much to do for a scout on the 2nd point (both attacking and defending)
The mid is terrifying for anyone who isnt a soldier

granary_proest fixes quite a few of those issues (and is definitely better) but it could still use some work. I dont really see why you wouldnt use granary_proest

Removing all or some of the crates or changing their positioning to make the mid more open would clearly improve the map, btw what are the changes in pro_granary?

You don’t want all TF2 maps to play the same. You need some variety in the game.

Granary doesn’t play the same as badlands.

Badlands plays almost exactly the same as process, gullywash and snakewater.

While that style of TF2 is generally more fun and exciting to both play and watch, Granary still has it’s place in competitive tf2 and should be kept in the map cycle.
