Since P-REC broke again, I feel like making an open source replacement.

However the hard part is to find a good name for this project. Any ideas?

Isn’t the hard part getting it signed by Valve? I was under the impression P-REC needs to be signed to work, and Valve has basically never signed any other plugins.

Upsides of this project will be:

Anycoder can contribute ideas (I saw a bunch of requests in P-REC thread)
When it breaks, anycoder can (try) to fix
Linux/MAC support (beg AnAkIn)
Support other Valve games (CSGO)

If we have a working P-REC replacement, everyone bombarding Valve should be do the trick to make them care.
