so that fucking stupid steam is updating itself while i’m playing tf2, which results in a 400 ping, does someone knows how to turn this stupid shit off ? it’s a “steam client update” not game update btw.

Steam shouldn’t download if you are inhale and I didn’t think it even downloads the client update until you allow it to or restart it. so your problem is probably unrelated to steam or your client is broken, maybe a room mate is downloading Spanish porn? I heard its good.

mate, my TF2 updated just before the last map of UGC semi-finals, making me unable to join the server since my version was newer than the sever’s version.
