Mostly fuck all in Source. They used to be useful in the HL1 engine days but VALVe have modified the engine so much since then. -novid is the only one which does anything now (it skips the VALVe intro when you launch TF2).

I use -novid -window -noborder

-nojoy -noipx -useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -novid

-nojoy still works on Source Engine AFAIK, but it’s pretty useless I guess.

-noipx doesn’t exist, and everybody uses it for some reason. It’s for HL1.

-useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd these work but it’s useless if you are using the mouse raw input and didn’t enable mouse accel in the game options.

Something I’ve been wondering about. To all those who run their LCDs in non-native resolutions: What do you prefer, monitor scaling or GPU scaling, and why? (Just curious is all.)
