Division 4

Format:

Two 1st placed teams who are closest to getting their maximum points will both get byes. This will be measured by the total number of points divided by the number of maps played. For example, let’s say the winners of groups 4A and 4B. The same rating will be applied to decide the match-ups in the first round, so the following match-ups are only an example and may be subject to change.

  • (1st Place 4C vs 1st Place 4D) vs 1st Place 4A
  • (1st Place 4E vs 1st place 4F) vs 1st Place 4B

The winner of these games will play against one another in the Finals for the prizes.

Schedule:

  • Quarter-Finals: November 30th – December 3rd
  • Semi-Finals: December 4th – December 9th
  • Finals: December 10th – December 14th

Division 5

Format:

The two 1st placed teams who were the furthest away from achieving their maximum points will play against each other in a preliminary round. This will be measured by the total number of points divided by the number of maps played. For example let’s say this is the winners of groups 5A and 5B. The same rating will be applied to decide the match-ups in the first round, so the following match-ups are only an example and may be subject to change.

  • (1st Place 5A vs 1st Place 5B) vs 1st Place 5C
  • 1st Place 5C vs 1st Place 5D
  • 1st Place 5E vs 1st Place 5F
  • 1st Place 5G vs 1st Place 5H

After this a normal 8 team single elimination tournament will occur with two teams in the final playing against one another for the prizes.

Schedule:

  • “8th seed vs 9th seed”: November 30th – December 2nd
  • Quarter-Finals: December 3rd – December 7th
  • Semi-Finals: December 8th – December 10th
  • Finals: December 11th – December 14th

Division 6

Format:

The 1st placed team who is closest to achieving their maximum will get a bye. This will be measured by the total number of points divided by the number of maps played. For example this will be the winner of 6A. The same rating will be applied to decide the match-ups in the first round, so the following match-ups are only an example and may be subject to change.

  • 1st Place 6B vs 1st Place 6C
  • 1st Place 6D vs 1st Place 6E
  • 1st Place 6F vs 1st Place 6G
  • 1st Place 6H vs 1st Place 6I
  • 1st Place 6J vs 1st Place 6K
  • 1st Place 6L vs 1st Place 6M
  • 1st Place 6N vs 1st Place 6O

The 7 winners of these matches will compete against one another in the next round as well as the winner of 6A.

Schedule:

  • “Round of 14”: November 30th – December 2nd
  • Quarter-Finals: December 3rd – December 7th
  • Semi-Finals: December 8th – December 10th
  • Finals: December 11th – December 14th

How will scheduling work?

We will be using the same method we already used in the past for the Pre-Season Premiership Playoffs. An ETF2L representative will contact you to collect the dates your team is able to play on. Teams will then be matched according to their available days.

Since the time frame for most matches only includes a couple of days it is almost mandatory for your team to be able to play more than once per week as well as being somewhat flexible concerning the times (especially in the “lower” divisions). If you do not think you will be able to manage that, please let the admin know once you are contacted.

Some choice matches will be selected throughout the competition to be casted live by the Maincall.tf and we will be hoping to get ourselves in the front seat for being able to cast all the finals matches.  Best of luck to all teams who find themselves seeded in this fantastic competition and may the best team win!
