The nominations are fair and accurate and I can say B33p got nominated quite a lot, ironically or not.
However, I think B33p deserves the title. The obvious choice here was Steve, but he would get nominated anyways. The definition of best varies between people, and we’re usually used to the fact that these awards don’t represent everything accurately. Despite people having negative opinions about the Irish pyro, I think his ability to go on, keep playing pyro and lead a fairly successful team in prem, make a lot of funny, memorable videos and memes, deserves to be honoured. To be honest, I can’t distinguish much between pyros this season, even Steve isn’t that much above everyone else nowadays (or it might feel like it). B33p wasn’t dragging down his team that it could be felt, really.
After all, I have talked and played with B33p quite a lot and I think he’s a pretty cool guy that might be sometimes stubborn, but in the end, his actions didn’t really hurt anyone but made stories and memes we can share between our fellow tf2 players.
That’s how I see it.

He’s a good player, a bit overated in my opinion. But defenitely okay to be in a top team! To say that he is one of the best pyros etc is really exageration, he played like 10 games in a high level scrim, you need way more to compare him to steve, lex or permzilla

But in honesty, these were the top picks, and looking at the polls b33p has a pretty huge fanbase. You can twist and turn but this is a guy that lead (and played in) a team to the playoffs. That’s more than I could say about some other teams 8)
