The Germans run this league no more

Last month, I overtook previous Head Admin Scotland Crasp in the number of taken admin requests (3794 vs 3768). With this last achievement and a heavy heart, I hereby resign from my duties at ETF2L with immediate effect and take my place in the ETF2L Admin Hall of Fame. For some, it might not come as a surprise, as I was involved in several other projects for the past months and have also already publically stated that I am going to leave the ETF2L staff as soon as the preparations for my leave are finished.

I am proud of what we have achieved together during the 3 years that I was admin of this league and am grateful for the people I met and the experience I could gather. Every second was enjoyable. I feel, I have given this league enough of my time to expect everyone to understand my decision. This community will always have a place in my heart and I still play the game and will be involved in TF2 related projects in the future.

There is no doubt that ETF2L can continue without me. I was barely involved in any admin working for the past weeks and nothing has fallen into pieces.

With Germany CanFo resigning from his Head Admin duties the timing could not be worse for another leave. Fact is that I will be stepping down from my Head Admin to an Honorary Admin position, since I am going to lead the European Team Fortress 2 divisions for ESEA.

It was one of the hardest decisions in my admin career, looking back at almost 2 years of working my way up, investing an endless amount of time and effort to help ETF2L become what it is today. On the other hand ESEA offers great potential and might be exactly what is needed to bring the TF2 community forward. Once again I am willing to give the best I have to offer to establish it in Europe for the best of the game we love.

I am glad for every contribution I was allowed to make over the course of the past six 6vs6 seasons and I am hoping to be able to contribute as much to my prospective employer.

With those 2 leaves consigning quite the gap in the admin team, we are happy to introduce         UnitedKingdom Permzilla as the newest member of the Head Admin team. He and Lithuania emb will take over the tasks and responsibilities previously held by Germany CanFo and Germany Sonny Black. Congratulation to the well deserved promotion and all the best to the ETF2L staff, present and past!
