Experimental Highlander Cup #3

Date September 24, 2012

OVERVIEW

It’s that time of the year again for ETF2L to step into untested waters and experiment with new or untried maps for our league. We hope during this tournament not to crash into any icebergs or navigate through a rough sea of bugs, bad design and unexciting gameplay. Rather we hope to give everyone a chance to test out 3 potentially superbly exciting, unique maps and give us feedback – you can give us feedback in our Idea Box forum. All information regarding this tournament can be found on its hub page.

MAP RULES

Payload and CP Maps

  • Bo3 – All matches will be a Bo3 of AB rounds
  • Screenshots of each AB rotation are required
  • To enter the score, each AB rotation counts as a map. Therefore if you won 2 – 0, enter the score as 2-0 for 2 maps (both pl_swiftwater or cp_gorge). If you won 2 – 1, enter the scores as 2 – 1 for both, and tick the golden cap box

CTF Maps

  • Matches will be played as first to 7 (Bo13) and with timelimit 20
  • In the event of a draw play a Bo1 GC round with timelimit 10

Make sure to let admins know if your match is running more than 5 minutes late! If you are 10 minutes late then set mp_timelimit to 15 minutes, and so on. This is to keep the next round on time.

Looks great, would have liked to seen the Beggar’s Bazooka banned since that can result in some real BS plays but others than that real nice stuff :)
