Obscure vote
Due to the recent release of cp_obscure_rc2, we have decided to conduct a poll to see which version of Obscure you would like to play in the upcoming league fixtures.
As Byte has already mentioned in the Obscure thread, it was a mistake to implement such changes into a release candidate version, but he feels and the majority of players he has spoken to agree that the changes were necessary. However, having said that, we realise that many clans may have already been practising hard on cp_obscure_rc1 and may wish to play this version in Season 7. So, we’re asking you, the community, to decide which version you wish to play in the league.
Please note that any versions after cp_obscure_rc2 will purely be visual and bug fixes. So any further updates to Obscure will be cosmetic and slight tweak changes only.

Guys the map is NOT going to get removed so please stop wasting everyone’s time with such stupid comments, The vote is simple and was made simple even for those who often fail to read properly.
Keep the current rc1 version or keep updating, If you dont like the map then hard luck im afraid, there are plenty more who do like the map and its something other than granlands all the time.

Vallone said it best. Having a map that gives major FPS-lags to people while playing no different from fastlane is ridiculous. Oh well, i have nothing against Codcrilles map, but it’s too bad a lot of people has to suffer due to it being unfinished.

FPS lag? I play on a terrible machine but still get the same fps on obscure as i do on well or badlands( around 30/40 fps).
And sorry but i find it nothing like fastlane :S and i love fastlane and am disapointed it didnt make it this season.

Yes, that must be why all posts concering this issue is deleted from the cp_obscure-thread. Good thing there is a function that logs forumpost-deleters that I made _for this very purpose_, why don’t you check that out if you have access to it and see what has been going on in that thread, Kop. I’m sure it will be… enlightening.

If what gryzor says is true, it’s sad to see admins abusing their powers in such a petty way.
There has been an underlying problem with a lack of trust in admins for a long time and that problem was substantially increased and spread with the TF2Street blog, and yet admins still don’t think it’s a problem to completely undermine people and delete posts, and in this case without a single good reason by the sound of it except people critising their work. Frankly it’s just plain childish power abuse.

I’m unaware of anyone deleting posts in that topic, but I will look into it. Personally, I don’t see why any admin besides Byte would have any interest in the words mentioned in the thread itself.
Up – How about actually letting people look into suggested matters before casting judgement and damning us with one silly statement.

D2M – If you look at my first sentence, you’ll see my entire message resides upon what gryzor saying was actually true. If it’s not, I have nothing against any of the admins and I have a lot of respect for most of them for the time they commit to the game. I don’t mean any disrespect to those that don’t deserve it.
