New video section in cooperation with own3D.tv
June 15, 2009
Today we proudly present a completely new section of our website.
In cooperation with own3D.tv, a high quality online video streaming platform for gamers, ETF2L.org will now host it’s own Team Fortress 2 video section.
>>> [ETF2L Video section] <<<
Everybody is invited to upload and post his gaming videos in our video section. All added videos will be listed on the overview page where you are also able to filter it to particular class videos or search for specific titles.
We hope the community will give it a try and take it as an option to create one big TF2 video portal. Feel free to start uploading and spread the word!
How-To: Upload a video
- Currently you will have to register an own3D.tv account [Registration Link] first.
- Upload your video to own3D.tv [Upload Page].
- Add your video to our website [Link].
Please have in mind this section is at the start, so we are looking forward to bug reports or ideas for new features, especially the latter.
Note: If you are using Firefox with an adblock plugin, you might have trouble watching the videos. If this is the case for you, whitelisting etf2l.org and www.own3d.tv should help.

I hit a few snags due to using adblocker in firefox, it refused to even start the video(s) unless I disabled it. Just a quick hint if anyone is having problems.

You can always add an exception to your adblock for specific websites if you want to.

:P i was close at least.

Very nice idea. One thing that annoys me so far is the logo in the top right. It blocks the deathnotice on full screen. And also the commercials in the beginning but besides that, then it’s a great idea.

ho no :( ads before the videos.. Necessary ?
June 16th, 2009 at 2:57 am
A good idea will be to give marks to videos and to add video column on player or players’s page (or team page if it’s a team fragmovie).

To the guys that go on about the ads: I think the ads are all the point , etf2l get their video section sponsored by own3d , and in return own3d get the advertising they need to get money from those who etf2l advertise. Simple! So I guess the ads aren’t going anywhere :(

@@|http://static.liverail.com/* has to be on whitelist / unblocked also :p
advertisment on page to watch hd is gay °!°
June 16th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
My experience so far.. Wouldn’t work because of adblock (wonder why adblock has it on its ad list), it has ads every time, if you want to watch it in HD (you always want to watch HD) it goes to own3d’s own site instead.
If you want to see what a quality gaming video site looks like, take a look at PLDX.com
