Divisions
We have now finalized the divisions for season 5. We have taken into account all division change requests, and applied them where possible. Without further ado, follow the following link to see your division and your opponents for this season:

Map picks open
All teams can now start picking the maps they want to play for this season. This means you can pick 1 map to play against each opponent. There are limitations however: You can only pick a map from the primary map pool 3 times. A map from the secondary map pool can only be chosen 1 time. You can change your map picks as much as you want while the map picks are open, but once they close, the map picks are final, and cannot be changed.

- Don’t forget to submit your map picks in time, or you will be assigned default maps.
Note: Division 1 teams should not pick any maps, division 2 teams should pick only maps from the primary map pool as a result from their respective votes for this. Division 1 maps will be published at the end of the map pick phase.
Start scheduling
All fixtures are now known. Week 1 starts coming monday. Please start arranging your first matches. All fixtures can be found on the fixtures page: [Link]
The most common method of contacting your enemy is through IRC, but steam friends works great aswell. There are usually some alternative contact methods entered on your opponent’s team page. Also, on the matchpage, you can make a comment, and as team leader or deputy, you can tick the box marked ‘Challenge Request’, and an email will be sent to the other team’s leader. This is an easy way for us to see if you’ve been actively scheduling the match.
Once you’ve agreed on a match date with your opponent, please enter it into the calendar [Link].
If a fixture date is not entered into the calendar by the Schedule deadline, we will appoint a default date. If one team does not respond to schedule requests, please make this known to us (preferably by making match comments). If you suggested a date, and the opponent didn’t respond, you will usually get the date you suggested as default date. The week 1 schedule deadline is the 10th of May.
Don’t forget to take the appropriate screenshots (1 for most maps, 2 for gravelpit (1 each round), and 1 status screenshot).
Player ban
Today we had to ban yet another player. Fallen from 40 Degrees has been banned for 1 year for speedhacking.

I think the divs are pretty well balanced, maybe not so much in divs lower then 3but most of those teams are not very known so is totally understandable.
I think i never saw a season so well balanced actually refering to div2.
I can’t really say who is gonna win in each one since most of teams are very close to each other.

Mole @ we sent evidence (screen shots) to the admins in order to proof that we are capable of playing in div2 level. In my opinion its nothing to do with Jonny or anyone else, only our skill that we showed in CWs.

This had to be completely obvious to all opponents, so I don’t understand why he did it. It’s like he wanted to be banned. It’s almost like turning noclip on and fly around with a heavy and hope that no one will notice..
I think the tables looks very good with the right teams in the right place.
It seems a bit strange to put Yoyotech 2 in div 2 when they finished in the middle of div 3, though.
But on the other hand, they are a good team fully capable of playing in div 2 so why not.

Speedhacking.., if used with brains you could probably combine it with a script to only turn active at rocketjumps, to make you jump longer.. That’s what i believe he couldve gotten banned for. Or perhaps increase the running speed just a little little bit, so its almost un-noticable.
Anyone using a speedhack for a whole round would be retarded.

Yes but I know how reluctant DNB and dAy are to change things after the prelim seedings, hell DNB even told me that on monday. The main reason FB2 got into div2 is because of Jonni and your spamming about S7. There have been plenty of other teams have sent in good screenshots in past seasons and not been moved, so don’t fool yourself in thinking you got moved up because of a couple of decent pcw’s. Most teams don’t even get the chance to submit shots from pcw’s, only officials ;)

Sorry to see that it upsets people that we got promoted to division 2 :( . Obviously Jonni was on our side, but do you honestly think that Jonni bases his opinion on our name? He saw us play and played against us, and from that he formed his opinion. Also do you honestly think that Jonni can just go in and promote us? I believe it’s a decision all the admins make and not a single one, anything apart from that would be outrageous.
Yes we will probably struggle in division 2 due to some line-up problems, but we wouldn’t have submitted screenshots if we thought we would get completely crushed in division 2. I believe we will still give most teams a decent fight and learn a lot.
I’m happy for yoyotech2 as well.

What MineraL tells is a Lie – With a capital L! The only reason FB2 got in Div2 is because FB1 is in Div1. If you remove the divs and the fbs you’ll get 1 in 1 and 2 in 2. So it would make sense. Theres no other reason for fb2 to be in div2.

Cheetah, they have alot of guys, from United Kingdom. That’s why they got spot in 2 div. If they’re really was 6 in they’r third division, and now they are in second, for sure, they will fail there, as FOG team failed too.
