Division tables
Finally, we can present you the season 4 tables. If you’ve been waiting anxiously to know who your opponents are, you have to wait no more. The season 4 tables can be found here:

Map pick Phase
The Season 4 Map Pick Phase is starting today. All 250 teams that are participating in Season 4 have to choose one map which they will play against all 9 opponents of their division. Map picks can be submitted until Thursday the 8th, 23:59 CET Note: Teams who fail to submit their map picks will possibly lose their spot and get replaced. Note: map picks will not be publicly visible before the map-pick phase ends.
Primary Map Pool – every map can be picked three times

Secondary Map Pool – every map can be picked once
- cp_dustbowl
- cp_freight_b3
- cp_labor
- ctf_2fort
- ctf_mach4
- ctf_well
- pl_badwater
- pl_goldrush
Details
- Map Picks Deadline: Thursday, 8th January, 23:59 CET
- Map Picks can be changed as often as you want until the deadline is over.
- Every entered team leader and deputy is able to submit/change Map Picks.
- Map Picks won’t be published until the deadline is over.
- First matchweek starts Monday, 12th January.

And shouldn’t it be cp_freight instead of cp_freight_b3. Since the final version of the map is released afaik.

There seems to be a big difference between the different Div3 divisions.
Div 3a beeing by the toughest followed by Div 3b and Div3d the easiest.

I think you need to look again Iller; top teams in 3a would be S@W, jAgarna, Mafia and possible eSrael.
Div 3b consists of Oh My God It Is, Weapons Of The Rebelion 2, hot scat and Revenge.
3d has klan:fader, delirium, Fun Until Someone Loses an Eye and ColorZ.
All div2/top div3-material.
I think the division 3 seedings are perfect (no, I didn’t do them..)
All above is my personal opinion, I’m not in any way representing ETF2L or any other organization etc.

In my opinion there are quite a few very strong teams in Div3a :
S@w, Jagarna, Mafia, E-divine, Piggybankers.
GoT, MM2 and Blood pressure I dont know much about, but they are not that bad either I guess. SdX’98 is not that bad either.
Div 3b is also quite strong with Wotr2, OMG It is.
Div 3c doesnt seem to be too strong. Don’t know much about the teams there, but I know GC is a good team.
Div 3d have Klan Fader and Delirium and Fuslae, but except for them the other teams should not be that hard, but ok, if we are talking about the fight for the top position, then it might be hard to win, sure.
I think div 3a has the largest number of Div 2 worthy teams.

Yes very nice seedings :) putting c0ck/delirium into div3 is the most retarded thing i’ve ever seen. (the team has half of k1ck (div1) players and half of ret (div2?) so yes lets put it in div3 :) and dont even try to explain it with “earn your spot” because basicly the team has already “earned their spot” to even div1 (tho i think they’d like div2 better) by being team consisted of mostly old cruciamentum players, season 2 div2b winners, so fuck you admins and get a new pair of brains kthx. (change redlines spot to nervous gamers too.) this “earn your spot” rule is just fucking ridicilous when you just pick the ones you like (theres plenty of div2 teams that came 3rd in div3 wtf??).

bit rude but I can see your point. I would also prefer to play in 2 instead of 3a. we didn’t come out on top because we played games and drawed, where the winner got defaults for doing nothing. THEY probabaly EARNED a spot.. the fact that we qualified for EMS doesn’t count shit here either :D

Personally I prefer playing cp_freight instead of b3. The final version of the map is a lot better imo.

Division 3 seems allright, allthough Fruit’s division (3C) seems worse than the other three. Too bad, personally I would have liked a challenge from more than one or two clans in our division. But whatever, we’ll run with it and will play in division 2 next season. kkthxbye :D

i guess the admins did not check the lineups of the teams in div 3 A, only whether they had heard the names of the clans before. but anyways, teams hoping to play in div2 should be able to win regardless of how tough the competition gets.

same whine every season :) if you deserve to be in a higher division, prove it by winning the one you are in :P Kind of a problem that solves itself as long as clans do not fold every 3rd month.
Imho only clans with proven stability deserve to be in the higher divisions anyhow, not the typical “wannabe star team of the month” that tend to form before each new season and fold once they lose their first game;).

The point is if you hadn’t of messaged us telling us that 3 of your members were about to leave and hence asking for div3, you may have been in a higher div..blame whoever it was who “jumped the gun” and your own indecision.

:D and what the fuck was the point of http://etf2l.org/2008/12/30/season-4-division-seeding/ if we can have no say in the matter? if you make rules make it so it counts for everyone, and not for those you want them to count, fucking ridicilous. and tumple should stfu once in a while i would play but i realy dont see any point in playing div3 matches that end 12-0 just because admins cant grow them a pair of balls or maybe new brains while at it?

toasty, if you want to, you can play it twice, or you can agree on another map (iirc, a clan can do it once only), or do a map elimination thingy if they dont want your map ;)
