Sign-Ups closed!

Here we go again. The registrations are closed now, we are really happy about over 20 more teams joining in the last week. We are proud to announce 50 teams joined up. And it’s nice we managed to became a big European league with teams from 11 different nationalities. These are the teams who will participate in the 1st ETF2L Season:

  • 11 German teams: Authentix, FsA, La gente loca, last one alive lock the door, IsF, S@W, veil, x23, Xeno-Project, Herbs Army, simply IQ
  • 10 Finnish teams: Anonymous Tactics, Blood Pressure, Clan United, coldFusion, Legioona, Neatmeat, Prima Nocta, Team Jobola, Team Novel, The MIPC Organization
  • 7 Swedish teams: FADER, IDAC, Jagarna, Kno I Horn, Kompaniet, Slackerz, syre
  • 6 European teams: 4Kings, Kaizen, Rejects, The Last Resort, wotr, Fracture
  • 4 French teams: fof, N!nja Clan, vcm., vVv
  • 3 Russian teams: Chthonians, Team Empire, LOL Team
  • 3 English teams: infused, 9 Men, Clan DA
  • 3 UK teams: charge, Fragtastic!, hybrid
  • 1 Portuguese team: 5 Quinas
  • 1 Polish team: Total Llamas
  • 1 Belgian team: LRRP

Still we want to remember you that the first season will start in the week of the 7th January. From this week on you will have to play one league game every week. You will have to schedule these games with your opponents. For a smooth running of the league we have to please every team to possible add an IRC channel to their team info. Every team who doesn’t have an IRC channel should have a representative of their team idling on our league channel #etf2l at QuakeNet. Beside that every team needs to have at least (!) 6 members in their roster (with correct TF2 SteamIDs) by the 20th December. These teams are affected:

  • No irc channel: Chthonians, Fragtastic!, La gente loca
  • Not having 6 people with correct TF2SteamIDs: Friede seiner Asche, La gente loca, Hybrid, N!nja Clan, LOL Team, Rejects

Notice: You won’t be able to change your player roster after 20.12.2007; you will need to contact an admin for any change after this date.

Also the vote procedure for the final rules of the 1st Season is over; only ctf_turbine made it to the mappool for the 1st Season and sadly also the normal score system for dustbowl & gravelpit won the vote.

How do we go on?

  • 17.12.2007, 19.30 CET: ETF2L Starting Cup Live IRC Drawing for 2nd Round @ #etf2l
  • 17.12.2007, after Drawing: Publishing of provisional 1st Season Divions
  • 20.12.2007: Publishing of final divisions + start of mappick (till 02.01.2008)
  • 18.12.2007 till 06.01.2008 (if possible): ETF2L Starting Cup 2nd Round
  • 07.01.2008: ETF2L Season 1; 1st Game Week

We also have some positive news on our personal roster: We are happy to welcome two new admins to our team: weqo who might be known as Swedish player of team “Kompaniet” and Haunter from Portugal who is also member of team “5 Quinas”.

    Hi guys! We don’t have an IRC channel but I (Alex) will try to lurk in the etf2l channel all the time. Also you can contact us via these forums or in our steam community (Fragtastic)

    Almost all clans have their irc channel listed on the clanlist and that should be enough for contact information. For those who haven’t it might be a good idea though, and preferable on irc since 45+ clans already uses it.
